Description

Cork powder, also called cork dust, is a finely ground natural cork material made from processed cork bark. Lightweight, resilient, and easy to blend, cork powder is used in a wide range of industrial, manufacturing, craft, and specialty applications. Cork powder can be used as a filler, additive, or raw material in products such as adhesives, sealants, coatings, composites, flooring materials, and other cork-based products. Its natural cellular structure provides low density, flexibility, and compressibility, making it a useful material where lightweight and resilient properties are desired.

Each cubic foot of cork powder fills a 12in × 12in × 12in carton — note that cork powder may be a mix of compressed and loose granules, and orders of more than one cubic foot may be bulk packed into a single carton.

Why Choose Cork Powder?

  • Ultra-fine grain — for smooth, consistent texture
  • Recycled and repurposed cork waste — grinding and reusing cork bark, stoppers, and off-cuts keeps material out of landfills and puts it to productive use
  • Lightweight at 70-90 kg/m³ density — significantly lighter than sand, dirt, rubber, or synthetic granular alternatives across all applications

Product Features

  • Fine Grain Texture – Finely ground cork granules for smooth, reliable performance.
  • Lightweight & Low density – 70–90 kg/m³, efficient for filler, composite, and bulking applications.
  • Environmentally Sustainable – Repurposed cork waste kept out of landfill.
  • Versatile – Suitable for industrial, manufacturing, craft, and specialty applications.
  • Natural & Non-Toxic – Made from natural cork oak bark.
  • Sold by the Cubic Foot – Easy volume-based ordering.
